Sponsorship

All Transport Ticketing Authority sponsorship applications are evaluated on their individual merit to determine if it supports our sponsorship, marketing and community objectives. Subsequently, we are not able to support any requests that do not fit with the objectives and budgetary constraints also limit the number of opportunities that we pursue.

All applications are assessed according to the criteria set out below. Please ensure that you read these guidelines carefully before preparing and submitting your proposal.

TTA reserves the right to amend or vary these guidelines at its sole discretion from time to time.

Each application for sponsorship will take approximately four weeks for evaluation and you will be notified at that time.

Sponsorship objectives

Transport Ticketing Authority participates in sponsorships to

  • To provide assistance to educational institutions, individuals, community groups and associations through sponsorships which enhance and are consistent with our mission and goals.
  • Position TTA as a good corporate citizen, an organisation that cares about and supports the communities that we operate in.
Our organisation

TTA is a body formed in June 2003 under the State Owned enterprises Act 1992 and reports to the Minister for Transport for transport policy and the Treasurer for matters relating to the Act. We have a highly focussed and experienced board. As such, there is a single point of accountability for the project while Government retains a high level of visibility.

TTA was established specifically to manage the State’s interests in the OneLink (OLT) public transport ticketing contract and to procure, deliver and manager the New Ticketing Solution in regional Victoria and Metropolitan Melbourne on expiry of that contract.

We have to ensure that a world class ticketing solution, based on smartcard technology, is delivered on time, on budget and it meets the needs of all involved. That includes customers, transport operators and the Government.

Our target markets and our brand

Our target market consists of all public transport users, however infrequent. They therefore come from all age demographics and as well as metropolitan Melbourne and regional areas of Victoria. We aim to be seen as flexible, innovative, dynamic and a leader in our field.
